I am a compassionate and dedicated bilingual mental health therapist with over 12 years of experience in social work and counseling. I hold a Masters of Clinical Social Work (MSW) from Virginia Commonwealth University and have provided care to children, adolescents, adults, and families across a variety of settings, including hospitals and schools. While I am particularly passionate about working with Spanish-speaking clients, I also welcome the opportunity to serve English-speaking clients, as my goal is to provide quality mental health care to all, without language being a barrier.

At Journey Counseling Ministries, I integrate Christian principles into my practice, as I believe that faith is a vital part of the healing process. Having faced various personal challenges, I have seen how God’s love and guidance have brought me peace and strength. My faith has prepared me to walk alongside others through their struggles, helping them to find hope and restoration. As 2 Corinthians 1:4 reminds us: “What a wonderful God we have—he is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the source of every mercy, and the one who so wonderfully comforts and strengthens us in our hardships and trials. And why does he do this? So that when others are troubled, needing our sympathy and encouragement, we can pass on to them this same help and comfort God has given us.” I aim to share the comfort and wisdom I’ve experienced with my clients, empowering them to face their challenges with faith.

In therapy, I utilize evidence-based practices such as Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Interpersonal Therapy. I believe that relationships—whether with God, family, or others—are foundational to personal well-being. Whether you’re dealing with a crisis, navigating health issues, or seeking healing from past pain, I am here to provide a supportive space grounded in faith. Together, we can work toward your goals and experience the restoration and healing that God offers.
