English: I am a compassionate and dedicated bilingual mental health therapist with a Master of Clinical Social Work (MSW) from Virginia Commonwealth University. I have provided care to children, adolescents, adults, and families across various settings, including hospitals, churches, and schools. While I am particularly passionate about working with Spanish-speaking clients, I also welcome the opportunity to serve English-speaking clients, as my goal is to provide quality mental health care to all, without language being a barrier.

 

At Journey Counseling Ministries, I integrate Christian principles into my practice, as I believe that faith is a vital part of the healing process. Having faced various personal challenges, I have seen how God’s love and guidance have brought me peace and strength. My faith has prepared me to walk alongside others through their struggles, helping them to find hope and restoration. As 2 Corinthians 1:4 reminds us: “What a wonderful God we have—he is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the source of every mercy, and the one who so wonderfully comforts and strengthens us in our hardships and trials. And why does he do this? So that when others are troubled, needing our sympathy and encouragement, we can pass on to them this same help and comfort God has given us.” I aim to share the comfort and wisdom I’ve experienced with my clients, empowering them to face their challenges with faith.

 

In therapy, I utilize evidence-based practices such as Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Interpersonal Therapy. I believe that relationships—whether with God, family, or others—are foundational to personal well-being. Whether you’re dealing with a crisis, navigating health issues, or seeking healing from past pain, I am here to provide a supportive space grounded in faith. Soy una terapeuta de salud mental bilingüe, compasiva y dedicada, con una Maestría en Trabajo Social Clínico (MSW) de la Universidad Commonwealth de Virginia. He brindado atención a niños, adolescentes, adultos y familias en diversos entornos, incluidos hospitales, iglesias y escuelas. Aunque me apasiona especialmente trabajar con clientes que hablan español, también estoy encantada de servir a clientes que hablan inglés, ya que mi objetivo es brindar atención de salud mental de calidad a todos, sin que el idioma sea una barrera.

 

En Journey Counseling Ministries, integro principios cristianos en mi práctica, ya que creo que la fe es una parte fundamental del proceso de sanidad. Habiendo enfrentado varios desafíos personales, he visto cómo el amor y la guía de Dios me han brindado paz y fortaleza. Mi fe me ha preparado para acompañar a otros en sus luchas, ayudándoles a encontrar esperanza y restauración. Como nos recuerda 2 Corintios 1:4: “Qué maravilloso es nuestro Dios—él es el Padre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, la fuente de toda misericordia, y quien tan maravillosamente nos consuela y fortalece en nuestras dificultades y pruebas. ¿Y por qué hace esto? Para que cuando otros estén afligidos, necesitando nuestra simpatía y ánimo, podamos transmitirles esa misma ayuda y consuelo que Dios nos ha dado.” Mi objetivo es compartir el consuelo y la sabiduría que he experimentado con mis clientes, empoderándolos a enfrentar sus desafíos con fe.

 

En la terapia, utilizo prácticas basadas en evidencia, como la Terapia Psicodinámica, la Terapia Centrada en Soluciones, la Terapia Cognitivo-Conductual (TCC) y la Terapia Interpersonal. Creo que las relaciones, ya sea con Dios, la familia o los demás, son fundamentales para el bienestar personal. Ya sea que esté enfrentando una crisis, navegando problemas de salud, o buscando sanar del dolor del pasado, estoy aquí para ofrecerle un espacio de apoyo, basado en la fe.
