Our Counselors

  • Ally Padilla, LPC

    Clinical Director, Therapist

*Ally is not taking new clients and will be on maternity leave from November 26, 2024 - February 2025*

As a native to the Shenandoah Valley and an official “townie,” I cannot imagine a world without college students. College is such a unique and often overwhelming time for students, they are faced with so many questions like: Who am I? What do I want to do? And where do I belong?

  • Susan Medlin, MA

    Therapist, Resident in Counseling

Even though I have spent my entire life within the church and majority of my adult life in ministry, I felt like there was more that I could do to help the people around me. I have always been drawn to people who were hurting and desired to walk with them on their healing journeys. While working in the medical field and ministry, it became evident that people needed an outlet to share their feelings and work through their pain.

  • Evan Pergrim, MA

    Therapist, Resident in Counseling

I see counseling as an opportunity to come alongside clients to help them through whatever they may be going through with the help and direction of the Lord. God has the answers, and the more we seek him and lay down our own understanding the more we find hope in knowing that we do not have to have all of the answers. It is a joy and a blessing that I get to do this work each and every day and I am honored to have the opportunity to be a part of your journey.

  • Edelmaris Colindres, MSW

    Therapist, English and Español

English: I am a compassionate and dedicated bilingual mental health therapist with over 12 years of experience in social work and counseling. Whether you’re dealing with a crisis, navigating health issues, or seeking healing from past pain, I am here to provide a supportive space grounded in faith.

  • Cara Huber, MSSW

    Supervisee in Social Work, Therapist

*Cara is currently on medical leave*

I understand the importance of having a voice and the need to have a compassionate guide to help you navigate through the many changes and confusions of both growing up and reconciling with your past. My hope is that I can be the therapist I needed then to those who need it now. I want to provide a safe space for your voice, or the voice of your child, to be heard.
